The MUSE (Men’s Unwanted Sexual Experiences) project is a research study conducted by Dr Carl Bonner-Thompson, Dr Kirsty McGregor, and Dr Jason Preston in collaboration with the Male Survivor Partnership and ManKind UK. The study explored barriers to support-seeking among men who have experienced unwanted sexual contact in the UK. Between 2021 and 2022, the research team conducted 40 in-depth interviews and creative workshops across Northeast and Southeast England. This report presents the findings from that research.
